My complaint was Admore insisted I ship the bad harness back to Canada in order to get a warranty replacement, instead of doing it through Twisted Throttle where I purchased it. So I had to pay out-of-country shipping and prepare a commercial invoice.
The new generation harness I eventually got has polarity and short protection built into it, as will all new Admore kits. Some of us have been, apparently, test cases for them.
As for the v35 PLX Givi side cases, I have no complaints. Yes, a pair of my little screws that anchor the lid straps pulled out when I took off without properly fastening the lid (nothing inside, but the elastic straps would have held it because I use liner bags) and it flopped open. By the time I could stop and pull over to the side, the screws were out, but still in the lid strap loop. So I close it up, went home, cleaned out the screw holes and removed the plastic shard from the screws, injected a drop of resin epoxy in each hole, and pushed the screws in with just a couple turns of the phillips screwdriver.
Its been just fine after 4 long trips so far, and they don't seem to be working lose.
As for the luggage straps, I've had no problems whatsoever with the red clasps. Sure they could be broken if you handle them clumsily, but I just fasten them normally and have no problems.
I think I've used mine for long enough to say I'm getting excellant service out of mine, with only the one problem which was completely my fault.
And after Edgecrusher went down, and you see how well his side cases stood up to the slide and impact, and protected the back of the bike pretty well, I think we can safely say they are quite sturdy, too. Heh.
